Poštovani,
Prošlog tjedna proveli smo prekrasan odmor u Rovinju u hotelu Park.
Zaista smo uživali u vašoj zemlji i našem odmoru praznik. Nadamo se da ćemo se vratiti.
Hvala vam i sve najbolje,
G. Alan Graham i gđa. Mary Graham
Pozdrav Hotel Park!
Sve najbolje želimo Vama i Vašem osoblju.

A tome ste doprinijeli Vi, vašom srdačnošću, ljubaznošću, stručnim znanjem i htjenjem… i doći ću opet
Rosemary + Inn Slaw
„Rovinj is delightful“
Nick051, UK, Sep 8, 2010
My wife and I stayed on b-b terms in early August, and really chilled out in a delightful and friendly town. We will certainly be back.
The Hotel Park was superbly situated and we had a double seaview room on the top floor overlooking the marina, harbour and old town. The hotel itself is no beauty, being a rather ugly 60s concrete building but the location is unsurpassed, the staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfasts substantial and there is a lovely pool with plenty of loungers. Rocky beaches and a wooded national park are within walking distance and it was easy to find a quiet spot even in August.
The real plus for us though was the town within a 10 min walk. We went in every night and tried different restaurants; we particularly liked the nearest on the quayside (Maestral) which was beautifully located and very good value (try the sardines!), but others in the back streets were worth a try. Also some good shops (esp the art galleries heading for the church in th old town) and loads of boat trips. Thoroughly recommended and much better value than Venice!
„perfect location“

excelent location looking right over the marina and island with briliant sunset every night (while we stayed there).5 minute walk into the lovely old town and bus station if you are after getting about. we booked our hol through thomsons and paid a bit more for a sea view which as we found out on arrival was well worth it. the hotel is spotless and very well run. we stayed half board and the food was really good with an excellent choice at the evenings with plenty of fish, meat etc and all to a good standard. service is good and all the staff speak good english and are very helpful. we couldnt fault the place at all it is run so efficiently(no they are not germans) i would reccomend it to anyone who wants a handy but quiet location.
„Best located hotel with pool in Rovinj“
HistorymanBristol, Bristol, Aug 31, 2010
Of the major tourist hotels in Rovinj, the park is easily the best located. It's a 10 minute stroll to town along the quayside and the hotel affords spectacular views of Rovinj.
Rooms are a little on the small side but perfectly acceptable and cleaned daily. The public areas of the hotel are modern stylish and spacious and the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and overlooks the sea and the town.
The staff were generally helpful and friendly. Food was adequate and plentiful but rarely that exciting, with limited choices - particularly at dinner.
The pool is good and there was loads of space on the sun terraces and getting a sunbed was never a problem.
Rovinj itself is exceptionally beautiful and it would be difficult to recommend staying anywhere else on the Istrian peninsula. (…)
„Rovinj beautiful, Hotel Park Excellent“
Terry5872, Leeds, United Kingdom, Aug 29, 2010
Everything organized by Thomson was exceptional, from the Check- in to Hotel arrival. Both Thomson staff and all hotel staff were fabulous. The hotel staff were always friendly, always helpful. The hotel offered us a wonderful view of the harbour, the island opposite, and of course the old town with its picturesque church tower. We intend returning next year but this time for two weeks, so that we can once again sample the culinary delights served in the restaurant, whilst experiencing the relaxing atmosphere all around the hotel and town
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
„A great hotel and fantastic location“
LovetravellingYork, york, Aug 5, 2010
Stayed here for a week and just loved it. I agree with most of the reviews that the location can't be beat. A quick stroll into town one way and the woods in the opposite direction makes it special. Can't be bothered to walk? Then the bar on the promedade below the hotel is great (try the medenica for a night cap) Rooms are quite small but with a sea view that can be forgiven. (…) Service is great and no problems getting a sun bed. Am looking forward to returning - the sooner the better.
„Spectacular views, outstanding location, memorable food, great value!“
Tandmmilne, Lanarkshir Scotland, Aug 4, 2010
(…) we got a wonderful mini suite, main and spare bedroom with separate bathroom, and the most spectacular view of mediaeval Rovinj across the bay. (…) Reception was liked greased lightning and we were on our balcony by 11.00am.
Heading into town we were impressed by the restaurants all around: lunch was no problem.
Looking back at the hotel, we agreed it is far better inside looking out than outside looking in. It seems to have been built in three unmatched stages, but we heard later that they are going to knock it down and start again anyway, so book soon and insist on a sea view if you are going to Rovinj.
Next experience was dinner. We could hardly look at the food for enjoying the sunsets. What a view from the dining room! Buffet style, gargantuan choice, fabulous sweets: a glutton's paradise. Great staff in the dining room and a couple of folk evenings.
(…) Overall brilliant destination, and the Park scores very highly indeed for value for money. A bit big, but friendly.
„Fantastic location, friendly staff, good food and very very clean.“
Swansea, United Kingdom, Aug 1, 2010
Perfect location, ten minute leisurely walk into Rovinj with bars and restaurants along the way. Beach and forest to the left of the hotel ,again, just a short walk. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Food to a very high standard, good selection every night., choices of meat, fish, salads, pizza etc. Plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for all. Pool and hotel very very clean. Very cosmopolitan feel, not full of British travellers.
„Exxcellent holiday“
glendale6, winchester, Jul 31, 2010
My wife and I have just returned from Hotel Park after staying for 2 weeks. We had a full sea view room which overlooked the pool, marina, island and town. The room was very clean and comfortable apart from my wife’s bed and the pillows, which were very lumpy (not my wife, just the pillows). The bathroom was a little smaller than last years, but we did have an extra wardrobe and a seating area. Having stayed here in September we just had to go back, and I’m so glad we did as we had a fantastic time. Nothing seems to have changed, friendly staff, nice restaurant and food, and still very clean even though some exterior areas could do with an update. We cannot wait to go back, so it’s back on the internet to check out the next visit.
„We had two views from room 321“
MikeBR, Haddington, United Kingdom, Jul 26, 2010
We booked this hotel because of reviews on TA. Prior to booking I emailed previous reviewers who had posted some great photo's from their rooms then emailed the Park asking if any of these rooms were available for our dates. They weren't but were promised a room with a nice view.. On arrival we were given the keys to room 321 and on entering wondered what all the doors in the hall were for. Room 321 is a 2 bedroomed , 2 bath/shower rooms & lounge appartment with a lovely sofa, and arm chairs, one balcony overlooking the town and another balcony over looking the pool and marina. Individual controlled aircon in all rooms which stays on even with the key card removed. The whole hotel was spotless, for buffet food way better than we have experienced around the world with a chef always on duty to cater for individual requirements and Oh the sweets, not only did they look great they tasted even better [I was disappointed that they didn't have an inhouse seamstress to alter my trousers]. Lots of things to do with guided walks in the park, archery, arobics, , Take the hotels walk round the town [hopefully with Elvis] to learn a bit about the area's history. (…) All round a great hotel with great staff in a wonderful location and well worth a visit and if you want a fantastic view pay for it and you won't be disappointed.
„Fabulous Hotel with Fabulous views“
HironsC, Kidderminster, United Kingdom, Jul 22, 2010
Have just come back from a stay at the Hotel Park - we paid extra for a sea view and it was well worth the money! The views were like a picture postcard and the sunsets were to die for! I went with my daughter and we had booked a twin room and I think twin rooms are in short supply so we got lucky and got a family room(s). We had one double bedroom, a toilet, a lounge with sofa and table and chairs, another twin room and additional bathroom - also a balcony attached to each bedroom. We did hear some of the other guests complaining about the size of their double room so beware the doubles are much smaller. Also, there didn't seem to be many small children at the hotel, mainly couples and families with teenagers.
The food each night was buffet style and there was a variety of salads, cheeses, soups for starters, various hot meats and vegetables (including pizza and chips for the kids) and ice cream, cakes and fresh fruit for desserts. The breakfasts were ok but don't expect your usual bacon and sausages ! There is also the typical ham and cheese out for the German contingent.
The Hotel itself is spotless and they seem to have an army of cleaners and waiters. The main pool was beautiful with plenty of beds and umbrellas to go round. There was also a games area - badminton/table tennis and for those that are fitness freaks there was also a gym.
The walk into town was 10/15 mins and the town is jam packed with tourists with loads of bars and pavement cafes, street sellers and boat hire etc. We took a boat trip on the 'Mare' at 8pm at night which gave us a sunset trip around the islands for 75 kuna each which I would highly recommend. There is also a line of bars/restaurants under the hotel which do live music each night until 11.30pm which are slightly more expensive than the bars downtown - but closer to your bed! Try the local croatia beer - lovely. The walk up to the catherdral is hard work but the views at the top were spectacular - the more energetic of you can climb to the top of the tower steps for 10 kuna.
All in all it was a perfect holiday and we met some really nice people there too. Would definitely recommend this hotel and location to friend and family.
„Best location in Rovinj“
Weloveholidays040, West Midlands, Jul 12, 2010
The view of the town and harbour from the hotel is without question fabulous. I would agree that the experience of the hotel is probably enhanced by a sea /town view from your room, as we had, but the dining room/bar and pool areas all have this, so unless you spend a lot of time in your room......Watching the sunset from the balcony of the bar was a favourite pastime!
We went half board and found the food to be very good - with a buffet, there is always the tendancy to think the food is the ''same'', but with wild boar and liver on the menu while we were there, the chefs obviously do try to do something different. (It's ok there is pizza and pasta for those with a plainer palate). Service was very good and the waiters, whilst working very hard, take the time to have a conversation with you (if you want one).
There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the town, and a lovely 10/15 min flat walk along the harbour to get to them. Think the hotel owns the couple of bars/restaurants underneath it on the Lungomare, and these serve good food too.
Reception was spacious, and the staff friendly. The whole hotel was VERY clean. Our room and bathroom was on the small side, but absolutely fine and again very clean. For the first time ever in a hotel, the airconditioning in the room was fab at night. i.e. not too noisy to have on at night (essential in the heatwave we experienced), nor did I wake up with a stiff neck in the morning!
Plenty of sunbeds available and more umbrellas in the store if you ask for one, we enjoyed the view overlooking the marina. The outside of the hotel could probably do with a bit of a facelift, but if the rumours we heard are true,( that at some point they are going to pull the hotel down and build a new one there), then we want to go back before they do it !! At the moment we think it is very good value for money for the location, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff.
„What a setting!“
PK2Cramlington, Cramlington, Jun 23, 2010
The Hotel Park in my opinion is one of the best of the Maistra properties. The views were stunning and the cleanliness was exceptional even down to the cleaners climbing out of the large dining room windows to clean the top of the unused outdoor stage area ! Don't believe the comments about the walk into town - if that reviewer meant right up to the highest part of the old town then perhaps 20 minutes would be accurate but there were four restaurants and a bar within 5 minutes walk and then all of the harbour bars and restaurants a further 5 minutes away. Actually the hotel grill and pizzeria down on the lungomare served lovely food. We were B & B and were pleased as all the restaurants we tried for either late lunch or dinner were lovely. Breakfast in the hotel was perfectly adequate- different meats and cheeses each day and always the choice of a freshly cooked omelette. Eating and drinking out wasn't cheap as one may expect but converted a main course ranged from £8 to £15 but the quality of produce is superior to our country. On the whole a really excellent hotel in a gorgeous location - please try !
„excellent hotel and vfm“
rowen10, Manchester, United Kingdom, Apr 4, 2010
Excellent location.
Clean & tidy, decent sized rooms, good dining & friendly professional staff.
We went B&B so I cannot comment on the dinner menu. Some excellent dining in the centre of Rovinj, especially down the back alleys - much cheaper because you don't pay a premium for the sea front view. Food just as good, if not better. Excellent fish.
Lots of boat trip excursions available so shop around for the best deals. Very good value.
Must also add......as this is when a hotel goes that extra mile....
On my wife's birthday she received flowers and wine from the hotel and they also told all the staff in advance because on the day of her birthday the breakfast receptionist and waitress both wished her a happy birthday. It made my wife's day.
„What can I say? The Hotel must have one of the best views in the world.“
glendale6, winchester, Sep 28, 2009
My wife and I went for a week from the 8th September and had such a great time. We booked quite late, about a month before, so e-mailed the Hotel and requested a sea view room, hoping at best that we would at least get a partial view. They actually gave us a side sea view room which was really very good, only semi-bad point was that my wife’s bed was a bit on the saggy side. We found the food to be very good and If you’re not fussy and try everything on offer, then you can have something different nearly every night although there’s not too much choice for dessert but then more than I get at home.
We’re not walking people, but after a great breakfast we did walk into town every morning and after dinner in the evening. The streets are lovely, but the paving can be very slippery as the stones are smooth and almost polished, a bit scary in the wet as we found out due to a thundery wet last day. We braved the wooden steps up the church tower and were not disappointed, the outlook is stunning. We also went on a boat trip around the islands and took the local bus to Porec, where we had lunch in a very nice restaurant. There’s plenty to do in and around Rovinj with various excursions, boat trips, boat hire, woodland walking, cycling, and even though there aren’t any sandy beaches, there are some great areas to sit and swim from the rocks.
We thought the Hotel was extremely good for a 3 Star with a lovely restaurant, bar/lounge areas, pools etc, and not forgetting the very friendly staff. Because we enjoyed it so much, I‘ve just booked up another 2 weeks next July. I can’t wait.
“Great hotel. Awesome city to visit.”
WarEagleCharlotte, Charlotte, NC, Oct 15, 2009
[…] we were lucky to find the Hotel Park--located a short walk along the beautiful harbor from Rovinj's old city.
The hotel is modern with clean rooms and friendly staff. Good breakfast with breathtaking view of Rovinj. Very few hotels within the historic city (Hotel Adriatic looked awesome), so Hotel Park is the best bet when visiting Rovinj.
We would highly recommend the Hotel Park--and definitely recommend visiting Istria and Rovinj.
“Great location and delightful staff”
jazzers45, Worcestershire, UK, Oct 3, 2009
As we don't usually stay in one place for 2 whole weeks, we were a little concerned we might get bored (especially as my partner doesn't do stuff like swimming or lounging in the sun). However we found Rovinj itself to be a lovely place to relax in, to enjoy delicious food and people watch.
Hotel Park is ideally situated so it's an easy walk into town, handy to the quay for boat trips or to the bus station, on the fringe of a wooded peninsula where you can walk or bike. The hotel's 'animation team' arrange some sports activities like archery, shooting, table tennis, also walks (all free). I did several of these and particularly enjoyed the archery and the art gallery tour.
The food at breakfast and dinner was excellent - the poolside snack bar had a rather limited menu but the pizzeria (down on the Lungomare) had a good range of pizze, pasta & risotto for lunch. The staff were all friendly, cheerful and helpful even at the end of the season when it would have been understandable if they'd been tired and looking forward to some time off. If you want ice to put in your (duty-free) gin and supermarket tonic, the bar staff are happy to give you a glass of ice cubes!
Our room wasn't huge but the beds were comfortable, it had plenty of wardrobe/storage space, a decent balcony with a nice view of the pool and marina. We had a very relaxed and enjoyable holiday at the Hotel Park and thought it good value for money.
“Best ever location”
JonesyNotts, Notts, Sep 30, 2009
After holidaying abroard for the past 30 years, my wife and I agreed that this has been the best. The position of the hotel is perfect, turn right and you reach the lovely town of Rovignj in about 15 mins. Turn left and you discover the secluded pine fringed coves in about 10 mins.
All the staff in the hotel are friendly and most speak english. The evening meal has a good choice of food and the waiters are very efficient. Everywhere is kept very clean and the views from the dining room and poolside are spectacular. […]
"Fantastic value for money"
Lou74, Edinburgh, United Kingdom, Sep 18, 2009
Lovely comfortable, clean hotel with very good facilities. All the reception, bar and restaurant staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient.
Our room, although not massive, was lovely and comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a lovely view over the swimming pool and marina (photo attached). The standard of food in the restaurant was superb, especially as the Hotel Park is only 3 star. We found the food to be far better than many 4 star hotels we had stayed in and even one or two 5 stars!
The hotel is very peaceful although it only takes 5/10 minutes to walk along into the busy little town with restaurants and bars. […]
There are lots of lovely little streets to wander around with nice little bars and cafes tucked away in the back streets. Also out of the hotel away turning away from the town you can walk along by the sea for over an hour which is a very pleasant walk, especially if you stop for a dip in the sea. The paths are very flat and even on the whole so good for families, pushchairs and people with limited mobility.
The local transport is also very good. We caught the bus to Pula and Porec which was reasonably priced and a good service. We also booked a trip to Venice […]
“Stunning Location-Hotel Park”
Alfie55, E.Sussex, Sep 7, 2009
My wife and I have just returned from a fortnight stay at Hotel Park. Most of the positives have been mentioned in previous reviews. We had a side room overlooking the gardens which was compact but had everything one needs for a short stay. I would not have been too happy if we had been given one of the rear rooms overlooking the bin area and car park but I think that they allocate these rooms last. An e-mail room request on booking might be a good idea. in my opinion, Hotel Park has the best location in the town. The views are outstanding and amazed us until the last day. Cycles can be hired adjacent to the hotel for£6.50/ 7 hrs and a coastal cycle route passes right by the door giving great access to the coastline and several bike routes around Rovinj. I would ignore the few negative reviews and suggest that the Hotel Park is good value for money and its rating. With reference to the comments I have read about sunbeds being reserved this is true but the attendant will always find you a bed and brolly, we often went out for our bike rides and managed to get beds on return.
"A wonderful hotel in a stunning location."
FuzzyWuzzyJannerLand, Janner Land, Aug 27, 2009
We have just returned from a two week stay at the Hotel Park. When we initially saw the view from the hotel across to Rovinj we were blown away - it is just simply breath-taking. We didn't have a full view of Rovinj from our balcony, our room was on the side of the hotel with view of the yacht marina and the sea. This was no problem as the view of Rovinj can be seen from the hotel balcony and the pool. Watching the sun-set on the hotel balcony is a must with a glass of vino. […]
The breakfast at Hotel Park was ideal with plenty of choice. […]
There is so much to enjoy in Rovinj, we hired bicycles for the day and explored the national park to the left of the hotel with its hidden bays, top tip is to take beach shoes as it is quite rocky but the water is warm and crystal clear. The bus station is a few minutes walk and Pula with its roman amphitheatre and Porec with its 6th century church. There are loads of boat trips from Rovinj too. We took one to Lim Fjord and had a fish picnic onboard which we enjoyed. There is an option to visit Venice but we chose not to as we wanted to explore Istria. We have only touched on the surface of our holiday, we would certainly recommend Rovinj to anyone. Weather was just fantastic - wall to wall sunshine for 14 days with temperatures reaching 34 degrees. […]
“Out of this world location”
minto123, midlands, Jul 29, 2009
My title says it all. The location of this hotel has got to be one of the most beautiful in the world. Right above the marina and looking across the bay to the old town, in one direction, to an island in front and to the open sea in the other.Breathtaking.
The hotel its-self was probably built in the 1970's, bit concrete box, supposed to be like a cruise liner!!Communal areas, reception, lounge bar, dining room have had face lift and are trendy and spacious.......lots of chrome and leather....very nice and incredibly clean.
[…] for the price your treated like your a 5star guest. Pool area ,bit tired, but plenty of space and sunbeds and in full sun from 10am. […] I would say rooms are probably low 4 star...as they do have everything you would need.
Food in restaurant excellent, very fresh lots of variety, and cooked in front of you, in open kitchens. Drinks prices good and great selection. All in all 4 star experience for 3 star price.
„Gute Lage“
Cristobal007, Frankfurt, Germany, Aug 2, 2010

„sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel“
An Expedia Traveler, Jul 22, 2009
